Driver – Labourer (Streetlighting Division) 

Lightways (Contractors) Limited are specialists in the installation and maintenance of all types of exterior lighting including street lighting on trunk roads, motorways and town and city streets, together with LED, decorative and festive lighting of buildings and monuments.

To meet the demands of our customers, we have a requirement to recruit a number of Driver/Labourers. We are looking to employ a number of versatile employees who can multitask to carry out a host of different duties.  A driving licence is essential for these posts.  Experience in this industry or similar is preferable.  

The working hours for this role will be nine hours per day, Monday to Friday inclusive. There is opportunity to work overtime, including weekends and nights, as required.

The salary for this role is dependent on experience. Lightways (Contractors) Limited is a Living Wage Employer.

The Ideal Candidate

• Driving Licence (essential) 
• At least one year of driving experience
• Self-motivated individual
• Positive attitude towards work
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Experience in labouring / civils work
